Board games have been part of the culture of many countries around the world. History shows that these games were played since the ancient times with the Senet of ancient Egypt as among the oldest board games to be played by man. Fast forward to the present, board games are still being played and are one of the pastimes of many people. The market for board games may not be as big as the market for video games but studies have shown that some board games are therapeutic and can contribute to the improvement of some skills among children.
