The natural beauty of Cebu has gained the attention of many local and international tourists. Aside from the beaches, which are considered the best in the world, Cebu also has other natural attractions that can readily pique the interest of visitors to the island. One of these attractions is the Sinangkulan Falls in Barangay Lamac of Pinamungajan.

Barangay Lamac

Brangay Lamac of Pinamungajan is home to a number of tourist attractions of the town. The barangay has over a hundred caves dotting the area. It is also home to the first wave pool in Cebu, the Hidden Valley Wave Pool Resort. In addition, you can also find two waterfalls in the barangay that are guaranteed to soothe any aching muscles you may have when you trek around the area.

Sinangkulan Falls

The Sinangkulan Falls is located in the same barangay as Kamangon Cave. It is one of the two falls you can find in Barangay Lamac. It is one of the places where locals spend their weekend afternoons having picnics close to the falls. The Sinangkulan Falls is also ideal for birdwatchers looking to spot some of the indigenous bird species of Cebu.

While the Sinangkulan Falls may not be as majestic as the more famous waterfalls on the island, it does offer a serene environment for outdoor enthusiasts looking for a place to pitch a tent and simply enjoy the beauty of nature. You can also go trekking around the area before taking a dip in the cool clear waters of the falls.
