The town of Pinamungajan is located on the western coast of Cebu. It is home to a number of tourist attractions including the Kamangon Cave, Campalabo Islet, and the first wave pool on top of the mountain in Cebu. These places have started to attract local and foreign visitors to the town, which is mainly an agricultural town. In fact the name of the town is based on the Cebuano word “pinamu-ohan,” which means the share of the worker in the harvest.
The Busagak Falls is a relatively-undiscovered natural attraction located in one of the barangays of Pinamungajan. The place falls under the administrative jurisdiction of Barangay Busay and Barangay Tangub. This natural attraction has long been of one of the places where locals cool off during the summer. The cool waters of the pool under the waterfalls are very enticing to anyone who wants to explore this part of the town.
You can reach the Busagak Falls by getting on a bus headed for the town at the Cebu South Bus Terminal. After reaching the town, you can ride on a motorcycle for hire to the falls through Barangay Sambangon. There is another shorter route, but you will have to exercise your leg muscles to get there. You can ride a motorcycle for hire to Sitio Sambangon in Barangay Busay. The Busagak Falls is located around ten minutes away by foot from the place.
