Balamban is a town located in the western coast of Cebu. It is the Ship-Building Capital of the Philippines. The town also hosts Adventure Café in Barangay Gaas and the Magsaysay Shrine, which was set up in memory of former President Ramon Magsaysay, who died in a plane crash in Mt. Manunggal. Its most famous delicacy is the Balamban Liempo, which is a special grilled pork belly dish.
The Buwakan ni Alejandra is a flower garden located in Barangay Gaas, close to the Adventure Café. The flower garden has around 200 different species of flowers. It provides a welcome respite from the stress of life in the city. The place was named after the mother of the owner of the lot.
You can get to the Buwakan ni Alejandra by getting on a van for hire headed for Barangay Gaas in Balamban. You can get off at the Adventure Café, which is located close to the flower garden. You also have the option of getting on a motorcycle for hire in JY Square and tell the driver to bring you to the Adventure Café.
