Anything made of natural ingredients is always considered good. But if these ingredients are made into sweet treats by a graduate from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, the results are nothing short of outstanding. Chef Valerie Lua dedicated herself to creating exceptional desserts and pastries. She creates these sweet treats without using preservatives since she is an advocate of fresh and healthy food. Vanille Café and Patisserie offers a good selection of cupcakes, chocolates, French macarons and cakes at its two locations: Ayala Center Cebu and SM Northwing. Cakes, pastries, ice cream. These are just some dessert items many Cebuanos love.  Whether they eat it before or after their meal, it is all up to them. But if world-renowned chocolatier Jacques Torres has anything to say about it, dessert always comes first. What are your favorite dessert spots in the Queen City of the South?
