Dalaguete

The cool climate of Dalaguete makes it ideal for growing vegetables, which is the reason why it is called the Vegetable Basket of Cebu. Aside from this, the mountain barangay of Mantalongon is also known as the Summer Capital of Cebu. But, Dalaguete also offers some delicacies people can taste while visiting the town. Among the things visitors can look forward to tasting is the Banana Meat of the town, which is among the mainstays during fiestas and special occasions. In addition, the town also has its own version of the Bibingka and Torta.
