A bowl of noodles is staple food for a number of countries around the world. Even as rice is the staple in Cebu, it is not unusual for Cebuanos to look for a bowl of noodles in cold, rainy evenings.  Many Cebuanos may be content with cup noodles or a pack of instant noodles from the grocery. But, there are some who are keen on having something special to keep them warm on a chilly evening. So, we came up with a list of five noodle places where you can have your noodle fix in the Queen City of the South.

Jeepney Food Stop

Jeepney Food Stop is a new player in the food industry of Cebu. Despite being a newbie in the restaurant landscape, it is slowly getting the attention of food lovers in Cebu. The menu of Jeepney Food Stop includes Nonoy’s Original La Paz Batchoy. This special dish is priced at PHP80. The place also offers rice meals and the pungko-pungko station for guests who may want to fill their stomachs to the brim. The Jeepney Food Stop is located at E-Zone, Panagdait, Mabolo.

Joed’s Lutong Hapon started off as a small hole-in-the-wall eatery in the Mabolo area. The place started after the owner wanted to offer Japanese food to Cebuanos at a reasonable cost. It became a hit and has become one of the go-to places for residents and visitors to Cebu. Joed’s Lutong Hapon is known to offer authentic Japanese food at a reasonable cost. Ramen is one of the dishes they offer to their guests. Ramen prices at Joed’s Lutong Hapon start at PHP200. The place currently has two locations in Cebu. The first one is located along F.
