Carnivals never fail to bring a sense of wonder in children. They are normally amazed with the rides and games they see in a carnival. They look forward to riding the Ferris wheel and for the more adventurous ones, the roller-coaster. The Queen City of the South has its share of carnivals, which are normally put up during a fiesta. One carnival that Cebuanos normally look forward to is the Kasadya sa SRP (South Road Properties). The Kasadya sa SRP was first set up in 2012 and was meant to provide Cebuanos a place where they can enjoy world-class carnival rides at a reasonable cost. Located at the South Road Properties, the carnival is one of the activities residents and visitors to the Queen City of the South can look forward to during the Christmas season. Children are not the only ones eager to visit the carnival. In fact, young adults and those want to relive their childhood normally look forward to the Kasadya sa SRP. The rides one can find at the Kasadya sa SRP include the ubiquitous Ferris wheel, a cable car and a carousel, among others. There are also some rides for intrepid visitors. Aside from these carnival rides, visitors can also sing their hearts’ out in the karaoke or they can also shoot the hoops and score as many points as they can. The carnival has nearly everything for everyone. For those who just want to sit back and watch everyone else, they can watch bands perform on stage. After all those activities, visitors will not have to go far to grad something to eat. Food stalls offer a variety of food items suitable enough to sate the appetite of any visitor to the Kasadya sa SRP.
