The Molave Milk Station is a well-known stopover point for travelers going to and from the southwestern part of the island while passing through Barili. If you are on your way to the south, the place is located on the right side of the road. The place is actually a part of a bigger property where animals freely graze on a field. But the farm is off-limits and you would have to schedule a tour with the owner of the farm before you can visit it.
The milk station sells fresh cow’s and carabao’s milk. In addition, they also sell kiseo made from cow or carabao milk. For travelers who want to cool off after riding on the bus for an hour or so, they are in luck since the place also sells soft ice cream.
The Molave Milk Station also offers meals if you want to fill your stomach before continuing with your trip. They offer rice meals, including Pork Menudo, Dinuguan, Pork Sinigang, Humba, and Chicken Batikon, among others.
The prices of their menu items are also quite reasonable. Their rice meals start at PHP59 for the Breakfast Meal and Chicken Liver Adobo up to PHP99 for the Mushroom Pork Chop. Their Kiseo, both cow’s and carabao’s milk are sold at PHP52 each.
