Even as Cebu is home to a good number of restaurants offering different international dishes, the adobo still holds a special place in the stomach of many Cebuanos. We came up with another list of five more places where you can find adobo in the Queen City of the South.

Dessert Factory

The Dessert Factory is more than just a place where you can have a cake and eat it too. While the name of the restaurant may give you an impression that they only serve desserts, the menu contradicts this notion. Aside from the cakes, ice cream, and other sweet things, the Dessert Factory also offers the Adobong Pusit and Curry Pork Adobo. The latter is a fusion of Filipino and Indian cuisine that produces a rather interestingly appetizing dish that can tickle anyone’s palate. The Adobong Pusit is priced at PHP220 while the Curry Pork Adobo costs PHP160. The Dessert Factory has several branches in Cebu.

Gerry’s Grill

Gerry’s Grill may focus of grilled items due to the passion of the owner and founder of the restaurant, but they do offer adobo dishes to their guests. The menu of the restaurant includes the Garlic Adobo Shreds and Adobo Pork Ribs. The Garlic Adobo Shreds of the place costs PHP225 while the Adobo Pork Ribs is priced at PHP305. Gerry’s Grill has a number of branches in the Queen City of the South.

STK Ta Bay! Sa Paolito's Seafood House

STK Ta Bay! may be a seafood house, but they also offer their own share of one of the best-loved Filipino food items. The restaurant offers a good selection of dishes along with a number of interesting items that you do not normally find in other places. The Adobong Kangkong of the restaurant is a must-try among first time diners. They also offer the Adobong Eel for customers who like to try something exotic. The Adobong Kangkong and Adobong Eel are priced at PHP108 and PHP141, respectively. The main branch of STK Ta Bay! Sa Paolito's Seafood House is located along Orchid Street, Capitol Site, Cebu City. They also have a banch at the Skypark of SM Seaside City.

Pancake House

The Pancake House may offer different versions of the pancake for their guests, but they also have a good selection of meals on their menu. One of these dishes is the Adobo Sulipan. The dish is made up of loosely shredded pork and chicken that are served with a hard-boiled egg and pickled kangkong. The Adobo Sulipan is priced at PHP255. The Pancake House has a number of branches all over Metro Cebu.

Cio’s Kitchen

Cio’s Kitchen is a cozy restaurant offering a good selection of comfort food for its guests. Since the place offers comfort food, the adobo is also a part of its menu. The crispy adobo dish at the restaurant is crispy on the outside while remaining juicy on the inside. This dish is aptly called the Juicy Adobo. The Juicy Adobo of the restaurant is priced at PHP180. Cio’s Kitchen is located at the ground floor of Plaza Nouvelle along Ramos Street, Cebu City.
