While it is a part of Bohol, it is also accessible from Mactan Island through a pump boat and is one of the stops of some island hopping activities. Aside from lounging at the beach, you can also hire a pump boat to go to La Manok Island. There is a resort at the island owned by a well-known political family, but it does not accept walk-ins. But, you have the option of getting in touch with the barangay officials who can point you to the direction of a place where you can stay.  To get to Carnaza Island, you should get on a bus going to Tapilon Port where you can ride a pump boat going to the island.
