The Bugasok Falls is a relatively-unknown tourist spot situated in a remote location in Mount Lantoy. The crystal clear water is enticing enough for any visitor to want to take a dip in the pool. There are no structures within a hundred feet from the waterfalls. Due to this, visitors can enjoy the sights and sounds of nature at the place. Visitors can hear birds chirping and feel the wind blowing gently while sitting near the top of the waterfalls.
While the Bugasok Falls is shorter than the Kawasan Falls, it is not easy to get out of the pool under the waterfalls if you plan to jump in. Due to this, hiring a guide is advisable since they can set up ropes for you to use in getting out of the pool. It is also recommended not to swim under the point where the waterfalls hits the pool since the downward force of the water is very strong. The farther you are from this point, the better.
To reach the Bugasok Falls, you should get on a bus headed for the southern town of Argao. Once you reach the town, you should register at the local tourism office where you can find guides to help you reach the falls. The local tourism office is around five minutes away from the bus stop. You can either go straight to the falls by getting on a motorcycle for hire or explore the Balay sa Agta before hiking to the falls.
