Samboan is a municipality located close to the southern tip of Cebu. The towns of Alegria and Oslob were once a part of the town before they were separated sometime in the 1880s. Samboan is situated on a hill and has a number of cultural and natural attractions. The Bonbon Hidden Falls is just one of the waterfalls in the town.
